Repair fire damage, retouch and revarnish.

This painting survived a fire at a golf club, albeit badly damaged when the roof collapsed. Luckily the canvas itself was not burnt and the club wished to have the painting restored in time for the reopening of the refurbished club house. The first task was to clean off the soot and smoke damage. Then there were holes in the canvas, which were carefully repaired. With the basic integrity of the painting restored, it was retouched in complete faith with the original and revarnished. The painting was restored ready to go on display at the reopening ceremony.
